         Ausgeschrieben wurde die Herstellung von 3 gefassten astronomischen Spektrographen-Kameras und den dazugehörigen Feldlinsen für den 4MOST High-Resolution-Spectrograph für das ESO VISTA Teleskop. Dies umfasst das opto-mechanische Design der Linsenfassungen und des thermisch kompensierten Tubus, die Herstellung der Linsen, die Integration der Kameras und die dazu gehörigen Funktionstests.

         Jede Kamera besteht aus 5 Linsen mit einem Durchmesser von bis zu 350 mm und zwei asphärischen Flächen.

         Nach einer Vorabnahme vor Ort beim Auftragnehmer sollen die Kameras an die Landessternwarte Heidelberg geliefert werden, wo die Endabnahme erfolgt.
