         Ziel dieses nun für die Realisierung in Georgien und Armenien vorgesehenen Projektes ist es, Anfragen der georgischen Regierung und des armenischen Ministeriums für Katastrophenschutz an das Umweltbundesamt bzw. die UNECE nachzukommen. Das Projekt soll die o.g. in der Ukraine entwickelte Checklistenmethodik multiplizieren und an potentielle Anwender in mehreren Ländern weiter geben. Zusätzlich erfolgten im Rahmen von Diskussionen zur 9. Vertragsstaatenkonferenz der UNECE „Industrieunfall“-Konvention noch eine Reihe von weiteren Interessensbekundungen aus Weißrussland, Kasachstan, Kirgisistan und Aserbaidschan für eine Teilnahme an den in diesem Projekt vorgesehenen Trainings zur Verbesserung der Sicherheit von TMF. Durch die UNECE-Mitgliedsstaaten wurde eine entsprechende Internationalisierung der geplanten Trainingsveranstaltungen ausdrücklich unterstützt. Ein langfristiges Ziel des Projektes ist es, die oben vorgestellte Methodik nachhaltig in der UNECE-Region zu verankern. Dazu sollen die zuständigen Behörden eng einbezogen werden um deren Bereitschaft, die Methodik im offiziellen Ausbildungsprogramm von Bergbauinspektoren aufzunehmen, zu erhöhen.
