         Im Neubau sollen Arbeitsplätze für ca. 100 Mitarbeiter geschaffen werden, welche für ihre Arbeit Büroräume und biotechnologische Laborräume, sowie Laborräume für Analytik und organische Synthese benötigen.

         Die Nutzflächen mit insgesamt 4 003 m2 setzen sich wie folgt zusammen: NF1 Aufenthalt 105 m2; NF2 Büroarbeit 1 130 m2; NF3 Labore 2.081 m2; NF4 Lager 433 m2; NF5 Besprechung und Konferenz 241 m2; NF6 Sanitätsraum 12 m2. NF Außenlager 138 m2 Die BGF des Neubaus beträgt 9 220 m2 und der BRI 40 587 m3.

         Das 4-geschossige Gebäude wird als Stahlbetonskelettbau mit Flachdecken errichtet. Die Fassade wird als Metallfassade mit außenliegendem Sonnenschutz ausgeführt. Die Dachabdichtung ist als Flachdach geplant. Auf dem Dach wird ein Zuchtgewächshaus errichtet. Unmittelbar neben dem Gebäude entsteht ein Außenlager für Chemikalien und Gase. Auf dem Vorplatz entstehen 58 Stellplätze.

         Das Gebäude verfügt über eine hohe technische Gebäudeausrüstung zur Versorgung der Laborarbeitsplätze.
